      The candidate will support the Aegis Weapons System (AWS) Operations & Maintenance at the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense Test Complex (Pacific Missile Range Facility, HI) as a team member of the AWS Integrated Product Team.
      • Single Shift (Mon-Fri): 8 hours/day – must remain flexible for missions and testing
      • Provide systems engineering and software/hardware integration support for the AWS TI-12H computing suite, including interfaces, capabilities, and limitations
      • Pre and Post Mission analysis – extract and reduce data
      • Responsible for their area of expertise, which includes planning, documenting, test preparation evaluation and dry runs, briefing, and the execution of test events and flight test missions
      • Work as a team with systems engineers, computer program developers, test engineers, technicians, and customer representatives to support Aegis Ashore Missile Defense Test Complex (AAMDTC)
      • Maintain technical liaison with Program Management, Systems Engineering, Sustainment, subcontractors, and customer representatives.
      • Ensure Combat System (CS) elements are fully functional and ready to support all test and operational events.
      • Coordinate and manage investigations and analysis of interface discrepancies that occur. Interface with equipment In-Service Engineering Agencies (ISEAs), Combat System Engineering Agent (CSEAs) and Software Support Activities (SSAs) as required in preparation for test and resolution of system issues.

      The successful candidate will possess knowledge of all Aegis Weapons System elements (ADS, SPY, MMSP, CND, WCS, MP, etc), ACS equipment safety, standard operating procedures, planned maintenance procedures, ACS setup configurations, and data extraction requirements. Provide support as part of AAMDTC Multi-Element Integration & Test (MEIT) Team. This position will be TDY for year one and EDY for year two and three. • Thorough understanding and considerable MEIT experience with AWS
      • Experience solving complex computer system problems and improving performance on one or more of the following platforms/operating systems: Sun/Solaris, DEC/OpenVMS, HP/HP-UX, Windows NT, Linux and Concurrent/PowerMAXOS.
      • Ability to install, integrate and evaluate COTS products and tools.
      • Understanding of the AWS, ACS interfaces, and SPY radar operations and capabilities.
      • Working knowledge of data communications and networking is required.
      • Candidate must be able to obtain & maintain a secret security clearance. Obtaining a secret clearance requires US citizenship. • CompTIA Lynx+ and Security+ Certifications
      • Shipboard or land-based Aegis Weapon System (AWS) experience.
      • Basic knowledge of real-time computing environments.
      • Experience working with Aegis Baselines (9, 9.2.1, 9.2.2, 9.2.3, 10, etc . .), and Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense baselines (5.1.4, 5.1.5, etc. . .)
      • Multiple element engineering experience with Aegis Weapons System baselines.
      • Working knowledge and experience with data analyzers and debug tools such as wireshark, Nightview, gdb, etc. virtualization environments
      • Working knowledge and experience with virtual environments and platforms
      • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Experience interfacing with customers.
      • Demonstrated ability to own the process and move forward with minimal direction.
